How to Register Dual Registy Limited Registry Question,Suggestion,Comment

Purebred Kennel Club of America is directed by a Board, who came up the
ranks as “Breeders” giving them a “hands-on knowledge” of most aspects
of the industry.  With this in mind, a registry has been developed that
is “Breeder Friendly.”

To become a Purebred Kennel Club of America associate, simply start using
our forms when your customer purchases their new pet.  Your customer
and PKCA will do the rest.

Litter registration and puppy papers, while nice, are duplicated in the
process of registering the canine you sell.  They also cost you extra money,
time and a place to store them.  This activity is unnecessary if
the new owner chooses not to register their new pet.   For this reason
we do not require litter papers.

At PKCA our purpose as a registry is to aknowledge your certification of
breed purity within an independent database, whereby your customers can
obtain information and pedigree data on their pets.

Ultimately, the customer decides whether his/her pet will be registered.
You should not be expected to pay for them to have that option..
..therefore, we use a single registration form, which is completed at the
time of sale.  The form is simply given to your customer, who then
names the pet, fills in his/her name and addresss, signs the application
form and mails it to PKCA with the appropriate fee.

The Breeder has no out of pocket expense.
